Two days after the Virginia Tech shootings, a Coeburn High School Student made a threat that he was going to teach the students a lesson and go Viginia Tech on them.
What does everyone think about this?

They seriously need to check the kid for weapons everyday before he comes to school and keep close survelience on him.
Just one of many similiar incidents cccuring all around. WCYB said Washington County schools have recieved three threats since the shootings at VT and Northwood had a threat Tuesday. Lee High was on lockdown today because a threat made for a shooting to occur today. Seen on Gman's board a bomb threat at Riverview let them out early today and one possibly at Abingdon?

You must in this day and time take every threat seriously. I noticed State Police, County, and Wise Police in front of Fry Hall this afternoon about 2:20. Don't know what was going on.

That is the thing. They're kids. You can't take every word out of their mouths seriously.

I think kids like this should be taken very very seriously. If someone makes a statement like that then they should be ready to receive repercussions.
All the schools in Amelia County were closed today for a similar type threat.
